We recently got together with Aaron & Laura Holker to take the first family picture with their new babe, Gabe. Aaron and Scott wrestled together at BYU & Iowa State, so we go way back. Anyway, here are my faves.

Crazy Corbin

Life has been crazy lately ... I took these pics before Thanksgiving and am finally getting around to posting them. Tis the season, I suppose. Anyway, I LOVE this little Corbin. He's the 3rd boy of my good friend, Erin. I just adore his little chubs. What a doll - a terribly masculine doll. :)

Baby Ava

This week I had the chance to photograph baby Ava. She's the newborn babe of one of Scott's co-workers. Just a few weeks old and such a darling -



After we finished up her shots, we headed out to Denver City Park for their first family portraits.

Premier Family Portrait

This week I had the opportunity to take my first family portraits. Our good friends, the Sorensens, found this dilapidated old barn in Parker that made for a great rustic backdrop. But, I better not post their pics since we have a bunch of mutual friends and I don't want to spoil their Christmas card! I also had a shoot with the Carlsons this week . . . we only have a couple mutual friends, so I oughta be safe posting these -

Miles is crazy. That pretty much sums it up . . . but, allow me to elaborate. He's affectionate, articulate (for a toddler, that is), and super sweet - but, above all else . . . crazy! He just loves to run, play, and party hard. While we love his energy, it sure makes it tough to get a cute pic! So, here's the big accomplishment of the week - I was able to get a couple good shots at the park a few nights ago. Ah, sweet success - at last!
